?Job Title: Site System Owner - ?GE Proficy MES
?Location : Ivorydale Technical Center, Cincinati, Ohio, USA
Candidate should have atleast 2 rollout experience of GE Proficy Plant Apps MES.
Preferably in CPG, FMCG or Process industries
6 -8 years of MES implementation, support experience.
A site system owner is expected to manage the administration of a system from a business perspective.
o SSO is the single point of contact at a site for MES System for a given solution area.
o SSO role requires close collaboration and leadership with various departments across the site (IDS, Engineering and Quality), with the global and regional SSO community and the global Manufacturing Services organization.
o Proficy SSO reports to QA Site Leader and supports QA Systems as backup.
1. Responsible for the effective use and adoption of the Proficy system, including identifying opportunities for the site to further leverage the system to eliminate losses and drive savings.
2. Accountable for maintaining the Proficy system including issue escalation and resolution.
3. Managing user training and work procedures for the Proficy system.
4. Be the first line of support when a user raises an issue and is able to assess when there is truly an issue versus when there is a gap in user understanding of the Proficy system
5. Security: Grant access privileges to users as needed.
6. Perform all required tasks to update and maintain master data and “site allowable” configuration. (e.g. reason trees, fault translation tables, shift schedule, products, quality attributes and variables, etc.
7. Serve as data owner, addressing data inconsistencies reported by users in both the client and reports.
8. Own the change management process for the solutions and departments for which the SSO is responsible.
9. Communicate needed application changes (bug fixes, enhancements, etc to the MES organization.
10. Communicate all changes to the business as needed.
11. Update relevant site specific solution documentation (CBA’s, job aids, etc and deploy to users.
12. Understand how MES Solutions and its data can be used as a tool to help the plant progress through its IWS journey.
13. Identify new ways to use MES Solutions to eliminate losses and increase savings.
14. Champion MES Solutions at the plant. Drive user adoption by serving as a knowledgeable resource to all users in the plant, providing end-user training and answering system use questions.
15. Help line/system teams and plant management leverage MES Solutions data by using MES Solutions tools.
16. Manage training and documentation requirements for all end users in the plant. (Line/system operator to plant management
17. Update plant MES Solutions CBA documents and deploy to users.
18. Leverages MES Solutions online trainings being the core available knowledge sources, shares internally.
19. First level troubleshooting of all reported issues. Unless exempted by the solution details below in “Job Responsibilities by Solution” or by specific support agreement at your site, the expectation is to accept calls/pages for Critical issues on a 24/7 basis. Home computer access to the MES Solutions server preferred.
20. Understand the MES Solutions support model and explain it to MES Solutions users at the plant as needed.
21. Define list of plant users who are authorized to contact support.
22. Escalate issues to the support organization and follow through on resolutions.
23. Communicate changes in site personnel and technical information to the MES Solutions support team.
