Need a Senior/Mid-level JBoss/Tomcat Administrator
At Wells Fargo, on the Wholesale Platform Management team supporting JBoss and Tomcat applications via Silver Fabric (cloud),
This position is for an Admin, not a Developer.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Required:
5+ years in IT
3+ years'' hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and support of JBoss and Tomcat application servers (plus Apache web server)
Enterprise-level Admin experience – large, high visibility, critical applications (some International)
Experience supporting app and web servers on Redhat Linux
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Good troubleshooting methodology (we support 24x7 via oncall rotational pager)
Preferable:
Some knowledge of cloud technology - TIBCO Silver Fabric, Cloud Foundry, etc.
Scripting expertise
Some Development knowledge – may help with troubleshooting
