UAT Manager
SAN RAMON, CA

Job Overview:
TOP FOUR QUALIFICATION NEEDED FOR SUBMISSION:
Former UAT Manager 8+ years’ experience & 2 years as a UAT Manager, (within the past 3 years)
KYC experience- A Banking background
Has been responsible for the design of UAT
Consult with IT to produce a UAT activity plan which is aligned to the IT delivery plan
Must be Local
Main Activities and Responsibilities
1. UAT policies, processes and quality assurance
Define the policies and processes to be used during the UAT phase of system change.
Integrate and embed UAT processes into the IT development lifecycle.
Ensure appropriate engagement and oversight of testing quality

2. UAT planning
Develop a UAT plan for each change project to include
Scope and objectives
Specification of test activities
Risks
Roles and responsibilities
Acceptance criteria

3. Test analysis and design
Be responsible for the design of UAT
Review test basis
Evaluate testability
Identify and prioritize test conditions
Design and prioritize high level cases
Design test environment

4. Test preparation and execution
Manage test resources and test execution
Finalize test cases
Create test data and scripts
Verify test environment
Verify traceability (requirements=test basis)
Execute test procedures and log outcomes
Compare actual results with expected
Record discrepancies

5. Entry / exit criteria via formal gateways
Design and manage the processes and controls to ensure testing meets agreed quality standards and all relevant stakeholders have visibility of testing progress and quality.
Coordinate UAT resources, track progress and UAT issue management (including leading the triaging of issues into defects, new requirements, data set-up, user error etc)
Liaise with work-stream team leads and key business stakeholders to gain issue resolution
Provide regular UAT progress statistics/reporting to senior stakeholders
Obtain required UAT sign offs from business/key stakeholders
Support go-live (process, system, data etc), by working closely with Training and User
Support specialists and key business stakeholders as required

6. Owning IT test relationship
Develop close working relationships with the IT delivery, IT Project office and business stakeholder to ensure UAT is planned effectively and sufficient resource is available to execute testing to the required standards.
Consult with IT to produce a UAT activity plan which is aligned to the IT delivery plan.
Ensure UAT is planned effectively within projects and resource requirements are understood across IT and business users.
Align UAT entry/exit criteria and gateways to project delivery process and project plans.
Support business change activities
Establish relationships across the Operations department and support business change activities to ensure processes are aligned to IT capability
