Lead Software Testing Engineer
Location: Burlington, MA
Duration: Full Time
We seek an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team and play a lead role in the evolution of our portfolio of integrations allowing easy integration of client’ scanning into IDEs (Eclipse, Visual Studio, IntelliJ), build servers (Jenkins/Hudson, Maven, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio Team Services), defect tracking solutions (Jira, Bugzilla) and integration into developers’ own tools and command lines (API Wrappers for Java and .NETThis is a hands-on test role including tasks such as manual testing of integrations, developing test automation utilizing defined framework, full participation on scrum team and ensuring a superior user experience.
Quickly navigate and learn the integration frameworks and APIs within each ecosystem (JIRA, Eclipse, IntelliJ, etc
Automation and manually test integrations using a variety of languages including Java, C#, JavaScript, JSP, .NET, TypeScript, and Groovy
Collaborate with our UX team to implement a compelling user experience for developers
Ensure projects are completed on schedule with high quality on or below budget
Communicate with project stakeholders and the management team regarding status/direction of project stability and quality
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or Engineering. 6+ years of experience required
Experience with Application Security desired
Very strong business acumen and analytics skills required
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
Previous automation test experience
