Job Description :
Teradata DBA activities Install/upgrade/remove database software / information on serversPatch management including Rollouts.
Database infrastructure software/tools management Create/upgrade/remove database.
Execute database level parameter changes. Update/refresh statistics.
Database environment support. Request to check privilege profiles from clients.
Execute deployments.
Blocking lock detection and resolution. Backup and Recovery - Environment Administration and Operations Metrics Collection and ReportingDB OptimizationSite log / Operations Manual Security/account/role/privilege management.
Initial troubleshooting and re-starting broken database jobs.
Database migration execution.
Starting and shutting down databases and/or database services.
Database refreshes/database cloning. Database security/account/role/privilege management.
Schema management and database monitoring.
Working knowledge of 1. Configuration Management process with Version Control; 2. Build process and automation and deploy processes; 3. Project automation tools(Gradle)Oversee or execute OS system maintenance services (patch and backups)Performance mgt and monitoring of all levels of the technology stack via various tool sets. Updates and maintains appropriate CMDB informationSystem and Security Administration
