Experience Required:
High level of proficiency with all Server Based Computing Platforms and the tools used to support them.

Strong programming
Strong knowledge of .NET (C and .NET framework application development
Knowledge of a scripting languages (JS/ VBS/ JavaScript)
Proven experience with programming (preferable in Java / .NET (C#, VB, etc/ VBA / HTML/ SQL)
Ability to analyze, understand business problems and express it in UML or other modelling language
Technically sound candidate with hands-on development experience
Proficiency in MS Office (Access, Outlook, Excel) including macros creation
Experience with automation technologies (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Fusion, Jacada, etc)
The role currently provides a 24/7 support operation. On-call shifts will be scheduled on a rotational basis. It should be noted that on occasions there may be a requirement for weekend coverage in support of our clients and other service desk projects. This role will be for various shifts and will be adjusted by manager as needs arise.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide expert level troubleshooting and resolution of end user incidents.
Provide expert knowledge of server based computing and thin client infrastructure and serve as subject matter expert to the company on those topics.
Driving productivity, recommending improvements, remediation and operational excellence using quality methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with the Virtual Workspace Services teams to ensure robustness, scalability, and global applicability of solutions.
Work with project teams and developers to ensure those teams understand compatibility with thin client and server based computing architecture and requirements.
Identify and proactively resolve issues that could impact system performance, reliability, and usability.
Persuade and influence others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
Write Rub Books/Knowledge Base articles for lower level teams and conduct effective training sessions
The Technical Lead performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement, from definition phase through to implementation.
Applies significant knowledge of product and developments to improve service for automation
Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions
Keeps the project manager well informed of the status of development efforts and serves as liaison between development staff and the project manager
Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project
Understands complex database concepts and effectively employs different database design techniques
Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures
