ROLE: QA Engineer
DURATION: 6 MONTHS
LOCATION: Santa Clarita CA
Candidates will be required to interview on-site. NO Skype Interviews.

MUST HAVE
Experience driving Selenium using C# or Java
Agile
Experience with back end SQL testing
Your tasks
Work closely with business and technical teams in an agile environment to derive testing requirements and scenarios for our e-commerce web applications.
Define test plan, test scope and test specifications basing on requirements.
Perform requirement analysis, create test cases/automated scripts, and execute different types of testing throughout the test life cycle according to the test plan
Triage and troubleshoot on issues found during testing. Support defect fix testing, including reporting, tracing and troubleshooting defects in the defect tracking system
Manage test execution, including co-ordination of appropriately skilled resource and mobilisation of teams to resolve testing issues as needed. Report test results.
Our requirements
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related degree is required
A minimum of 5 years of experience is required in software testing and/or development, completing several major projects with multiple release cycles
Hands-on experience with SQL and automation testing required. Experience with User Interface test automation (e.g. Selenium) is desirable
Strong experience with scripting languages as applied to testing automation is required.
Good knowledge of concepts used in the web application development
Must possess analytical and troubleshooting skills
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paces environment with minimum supervision
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Be self-motivated, willing to learn new concepts, technologies, and produce quickly.
Strong interpersonal skills, writing, and communication skills, as well as a dedication to quality software.
Certificates are an advantage (ASQ/CSQE or ISQI/ISTQB)
