Job Description :
Responsibilities:

-Create and install custom Management Packs (MP) as needed using XML,
VS, Silect, or other tool.
-Perform installation (of new versions of OM) and administrative tasks
for the existing Operation Manager environment including console,
provide application support for the SCOM platform and create and
maintain monitoring and notification rules.
-Review and update SCOM console security, apply patches, create SCOM
console roles and reviews, and Management Packs.
-Deliver SCOM custom reports on results of SCOM monitoring, using SQL
Server Reporting Services (SSRS) technologies, and provide problem
resolution for SCOM components and related custom scripts.
-Proficiency in Agile development.
-Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, and design and
programming techniques.
-Continuously work with business stakeholders to come up with quick solutions.
-Work with minimal supervision, engaging peers and other teams to
accomplish assigned goals and effectively manage projects in a
cross-functional environment.
-Be an individual contributor with excellent hands on in coding and debugging.
-Mentor a vendor team of 3+ people (some offshore teams
-Anticipate problems, issues and solutions.
-Work on production issues and adhere to SLA’s.
-Work with offshore teams in different time zones.
-Code independently and solve technical problems.


Requirements/Qualifications:

-Excellent communication skills, ability to drive initiative,
self-motivated, and build relationships with various stakeholders.
-Minimum of 3+ years of IT experience, managing deployment of
technology components in a specific technical discipline: clients,
servers, storage, web platforms, database platforms, security,
networks, or communications, ideally with a mix of skills that include
technical architectures, engineering and operations.
-Experience engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining
business critical systems in the area of technical expertise,
including hands-on solution development and implementation experience.
-Must be self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent
judgment skills.
-Ability to establish new standards for quality, performance and productivity.
-Ability to maintain open communication with internal employees,
contractors, managers, 3rd parties, and customers, as needed.
-Ability to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner.
-Ability to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on quality.

-Experience with the installation and administration of Microsoft
System Center Operations Manager 2012/2016.
-Experience in application/network performance and availability monitoring.
-Experience using the Microsoft Windows PowerShell scripting engine to
automate tasks with SCOM.
-Experience with System Center Service Manager Automation 2012/2016.
-Experience with major Microsoft technologies including PC and server
operating systems, Active Directory, SQL Server, and Office.
-Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, preferably Hyper-V.
-Knowledge of multiple processor systems, RAID hardware, SCSI
attached, and storage area network solutions, preferably experience
with HP hardware.
-Knowledge of LAN/WAN network infrastructure technologies.
-Knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS, SSH, TELNET, SNMP, FTP.
