Lead Healthcare Business Analyst
Location: Long Beach, CA
Contract: 6+ Months
Looking for A player candidates who can be the Sole Sr. BA on a project
· Senior Business Analysts with 8 to 10 years of experience as either a lead BA or as the leader of a team of BAs on a project
· Candidates *must have* project experience working for a PMO or as part of a consulting organization providing services to clients
· Ability to facilitate and lead requirements gathering meeting are a must
· Creating BRD’s from scratch, conducting JAD sessions and working with stakeholders
· Communication and listening skills must be excellent
· Must be curious and have the ability to drive a conversation with stakeholders past the “sunny day” case to uncover exceptions and alternative business flows
· Must have a deep seated desire to do the “right thing” for the client/customer and be comfortable working in a dynamic, sometimes stressful environment
· Healthcare experience with other payer organizations is highly desirable, as is expertise in directly related business functional areas (care management, utilization management, quality, risk adjustment)
