JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under general direction designs, develops, and updates UI / presentation layer for web and mobile applications.
· Design UI (User Interface) layouts for web and mobile business applications.
· Creates or modifies custom graphics using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
· Contributing team member on UX (User Experience) including features and application flows.
· Working with a project team of .NET developers, provides hands on development for the implementation of the UI design with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
· A minimum of three (3) years of work experience:
o Creating UI (User Interface) design for web and mobile business applications.
o Producing prototypes of UI designs for team and customer review.
o Hands on coding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, etc. Frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular, etc are fine; however, the candidate much be able to write HTML and CSS from scratch.
o Demonstrable experience with responsive web design (both design and implementation
· The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in
writing
· Must be comfortable recommending alternative approaches.
· Candidate will be asked to provide a portfolio or sampling of prior work with specific focus on UI and UX aspects.
PREFERENCES:
· Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio (2013 or beyond)
· Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
· Experience in an agile development environment
· Experience working with .NET developers, modifying HTML and applying CSS to their C# coded projects.
