This request is for a senior level Linux and systems administrator/engineer to augment onshore engineering staff.
The Sr. Automation and Systems Engineer plays a key role in defining, creating, implementing and supporting the process and automation platform for GDCS Automation & Monitoring team (AMP In this position, a successful candidate will work closely with engineers on the AMP team as well as with partner organizations and internal customers in order to provide support and implement solutions according to GDCS and IS&T delivery priorities. This individual will have exposure to a broad set of technologies (full stack network to storage), many years of experience and be constantly challenged to develop innovative automation solutions. The ideal candidate should have a successful track record of dealing with various aspects of IT process automation, automation development, and systems engineering.
Skillset Requirement:
- Minimum 15 years of System Admin experience
- Excellent Linux experience
- Excellent experience in Shell / PERL scripting
- Experience in on-call support
- Experience with Puppet & Virtualization
- Experience with KVM
- F5 Load Balance
