SCRUM MASTER - DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A PM
Location: Milwaukee, WI
3-6 months, potential for extension
Local candidates preferred (Milwaukee or Chicago willing to commute or work on per diem will be 100% onsite work.
*things are changing constantly across SDLC and project development. Marketing, internal research engine scope mobile, web, cloud, device, and QA across the board dont have someone who can keep all things moving across this team bringin a new device to market need to bring all non technical as far as developer but will need to work with developers and IoT product dev experience.
2) Scrum Master figure out who is working on what, where the breakdown is, dependencies in project, meet weekly. Push meeting and mile-stone. Project behind schedule back on track and delivered. Meeting with upper management today for funding approval. No project management background is needed. A lot of scrum masters and turn project around. Bringing a project back. Create relationships. Trust, etc
Scrum Master
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
- Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Supporting and educating the Project Manager/Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
- Providing all support to the team using a leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example
Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile
Required software product development experience
Experience in a Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
