Responsibilities:

The Admin / Developer for Service now will be responsible for configuring, administering and scripting on the GE Appliances ServiceNow platform. This role will work with the IT Service Management leadership to develop technical solutions that satisfy the business needs of IT and other departments seeking to use ServiceNow. These responsibilities include, but are not limited
Configuration/Customization of the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows
Build catalog items from customer requirements including requests, request items and tasks using workflows to manage the data flow from the customer to the support teams providing the service.
Using the Service Now REST API functionality, create externally driven processes to automate rote tasks being done in ServiceNow
Perform integrations and process automation using ServiceNow functionality
Gather specifications from the Customer and deliver a product/release that meets the needs presented. Create requirement definitions and technical specifications documentation.
Load, manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems
Work with IT managers to generate views and reports as needed
Analyze and fully understand user requirements and current procedures in order to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows and address scheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of the GE Appliances technical roadmap
Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
Performs system and integration testing with sample and live data
Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application
Key Requirements
3+ Years of experience in Java scripting, Web application & Service-Now development
1+ Years of experience in systems integration utilizing Web Services. Service-Now platform integration leveraging inbound and outbound REST is preferable.
Service-Now Certified System Administrator
Self-Starter, Ability to operate alone or in a team setting
Strong Problem solving skills
ITIL Foundation Certification
Experience working with the Helsinki version (or later) of Service-Now
1+ Years of Angular/Bootstrap experience, preferable on the Service-Now platform
Experience with the following Service-Now platform processes: Configuration Management, Asset Management, Request Management, Change Management and Incident Management.
Experience with MID server, Service-Now Adapter, Glide Scripts, Transform maps, Scheduler, WebService, External Database Connections, CMS and Service Portal
Experience with backend and process work; Access Control, Business Rules, Data modeling, Workflow scripting, Import Sets, Notifications
