A growing company in the Alpharetta area is looking for a Sr. Security Engineer who will be responsible for understanding and providing appropriate surveillance for the critical cyber threats. As a Senior Security Engineer, your roles and responsibilities will include white hat penetration testing of corporate assets, vulnerability and patch management, Incident Response, threat intelligence, operating system hardening. Experience with ethical hacking, intrusion prevention, and incident responses are ideal as well.
Responsibilities:
Perform internal and external white hat penetration tests of corporate assets (blue team /red team exercises)
Manage Patch Management Process to ensure systems and applications maintain current patch levels
Perform forensics analysis and provide recommendations on cyber intrusions and malware incidents
Monitor system and security logs, statistics and event notifications and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
Monitor, audit and assist in configuration of Web Application Firewall
Threat Intelligence
Incident Response
Docker Container security
Requirements:
Bachelor''s Degree in InfoSec, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Minimum 5+ years of IT Security experience involving penetration testing, firewalls, patch management, vulnerability scanning, intrusion prevention, and SIEM
Strong knowledge and experience working on Windows, Linux
Scripting skills
Experience with Splunk, Elastic Search, OS Hardening
Familiarity with tools such as Citrix NetScalers, Kali Linux, MetaSploit
Hard working, Trustworthy, Self-Motivated
Preferred Certifications (Ideal candidate would have at least one or more of these Certifications):
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
GIAC Security Expert (GSE)o GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA)o GIA
Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Ability to fully understand the current and emerging cyber threats to our business and help after assessing the risks design, implement and maintain innovative solutions and processes that protect us from these threats
