Position: Workday Financials Functional Consultant
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 12+ months
Summary:
Workday Financials Functional Consultant will focus on Workday delivery to our clients. This role will drive financial functional areas, completing activities in design, configuration, testing and deployment of Workday Financials.
Responsibilities:
Work in a team environment that includes client interactions, workstream management, and cross-team collaboration
Accountable for functional workstream and/or project activities assigned by functional lead or supervisor
Interaction with all workstreams including technical, reports, conversion, change management and project management
Adapt existing methods, tools and procedures to create solutions to deliver on client needs
Analyze business requirements to figure out configuration solutions; documentation of requirements, solutions and impacts, alternatives and final decisions
Qualifications:
Workday Financials Certification required
Minimum 2+ years hands experience with Workday and at least 1 year or full implementation of Workday Financials
Proficiency in Finance functional areas such as:
Financial Accounting
Assets
FDM
Procurement
Inventory
Supplier Accounts
Customer Accounts
Banking and Settlement
Expenses
Grants
Endowments
Projects
Minimum of 2+ years of requirements gathering, system design, process mapping, testing and deployment of Workday solutions
Bachelor''s Degree
Minimum of 2+ years prior consulting experience
Additional Qualifications:
Known to work well in contributing to a team-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
