Senior Technology Project Manager

The Senior Technology Project Manager for the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Beneficial Ownership project will be responsible for managing the technology delivery to capture data from upstream systems, aggregate data across bank customers, and send to the applicable AML applications. This position requires deep knowledge of project management fundamentals and strong leadership capabilities to manage multiple work streams spanning AML and Consumer and Commercial Banking groups. The resource will coordinate the delivery with technical teams and will represent the Technology organization as the primary project point of contact on this high-priority regulatory initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
The resource will lead all phases of the project delivery lifecycle, from planning to implementation, actively managing changing priorities and scope:
Identify Technology stakeholders, coordinate and facilitate meetings, and manage relationships with groups to build an effective delivery team
Scope out technical tasks and associated effort required to execute project scope in line with business objectives and document and manage the tasks in the project plan
Succinctly and accurately communicate project status to project stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis in governance and ad hoc meetings
Gather cost estimates from Technology teams and prepare and actively manage Technology financial forecast against actual spending
Identify technical risks and issues affecting project delivery and prepare and execute mitigation strategies and resolution plans
Leverage knowledge of Technology and Enterprise PMO waterfall delivery methodology to meet stage gate deliverable/documentation requirements
Lead code deployment to production and Go-Live weekend activities through facilitation of checkpoints and communication to project stakeholders and leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology required
Minimum of 7 years of project management experience required, preferably in the Information Technology space
Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work groups with strong team management, leadership, and coaching skills
Ability to create a detailed project schedule in Microsoft Project software
Proven experience coordinating delivery across technical teams and business stakeholder groups
Must have excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization
Ability to effectively facilitate meetings among diverse stakeholders to gain consensus to drive decision-making
Self-motivated team player, able to drive progress with minimal oversight required
Must possess the ability to research and resolve issues independently, while working across teams to acquire needed information
Must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to multi-task and successfully execute complex technical solutions
Project Management Certification (PMP) is preferred, but not required
