Our great Fortune 500 client is looking for a PTC Windchill Support Analyst for a 6+ month contract in the Milwaukee, WI area.
Ideal candidates will have experience with
5+ years of PTC Windchill/WAP application Experience
5+ years of Java platform experience (Servlet, JSP, SQL Oracle Databases)
Experience with Linux Servers
SpringSource, SQL Development and Putty experience is a plus
Role and Responsibilities
In partnership with Business counterparts, support the operation and maintenance of client’s applications according to business requirements and ensure its continued seamless application operations.
Provide IT support to client’s shared service and North America operations team in more proactive and reactive way as needed.
Propose solutions and estimations related to organizations business processes to improve efficiency in operations
Work with client’s Solution Architecture to take guidance to provides consultation and Proof Of Concept to application owners, business partners and peer groups regarding long and short-range architecture solutions to meet business imperatives
Recommends solutions and develop business case alternatives which anticipate the future direction of the business, its drivers and technology strategy.
Document all aspects of the system (e.g. Statement of Requirement, Process Design, Integration efforts, process Flow, Gap and Impact Analysis, etc
Assist other members in the team in learning about process and configuration of PTC WAP application
Provide Subject Matter Expertise in technical aspects of Conflict minerals related master data, Compliance, reporting and custom solutions deployed in client to support the product business processes.
Skills Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Master’s degree in related discipline preferred.
6+ years of JAVA (Servlet, JSP with SQL Oracle DB) programing experience (hands-on) across multiple lifecycles of software implementation and support for core product and master data process.
Good knowledge in Linux server (OS Level), SAP and Legacy DB structures and tools like SpringSource, SQL Developer Putty is expected.
At least 2 or 3 full cycle implementation project (one or more global implementation) with hands-on project experience designing, testing and implementing compliance solutions)
Good working and configuration knowledge of JAVA components required
Ability to resolve and manage conflict Excellent problem-solving capabilities
Good experience in driving strategic business initiatives in the Product domain in
oEngaging business customers,
oManaging customer expectations
oDriving Cost benefit analysis based on estimation models
oDeveloping Solution Deployment Roadmap
Ability to provide exceptional IT support by proving a quicker learning curve about the tools and customer.
Ability to develop clear and detailed business requirements and design specifications that can be understood by other delivery team business partners
Ability to translate business requirements into design options that are cost effective, efficient, re-usable that comply with defined architectural principles and standards and that enhance the business process.
Must possess a high degree of professional confidence and credibility, with the presence and communication skills to represent IT related concepts effectively with all levels of the business.
