SSRS Developer with POWERBI Exp.
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 9+ Months
Our client is seeking an SSRS Developer Onshore. Must have a strong reporting background and SSRS and PowerBI experience. Must be able to communicate well with the business and be consultative when it comes to reporting features.
Must have job qualifications:
? 4+ years as a dedicated Report Developer / Reporting Analyst utilizing SSRS in a SQL Server and .NET environment
? In-depth understanding of SSRS
? Expert-level knowledge in creating complex T-SQL queries for data extracts to create a large volume of ad-hoc and scheduled SSRS reports
? Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with the business in gathering requirements and presenting data from the reports
? Provide analysis and visualization of data (help define/create the appropriate graphs/charts, not just raw data reports) using Power BI/SSRS Mobile Reports
Job Responsibilities:
? Work directly with business users in understanding the needs of the business and developing innovative, effective, and efficient SSRS reporting solutions to meet these requirements.
? Design, develop, modify, and implement reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS
? Responsible for analysis, design, development and implementation of reports executed against a large financial data warehouse and data marts.
? Assist in analysis of problems and enhancements to the data warehouse.
? Delivers accurate and timely ad-hoc extracts that support different business requirements.
? Resolves report performance issues.
? Performs data integrity and audit checks to ensure accuracy of reports.
? Supports and performs software life-cycle development.
? Ensures standards and best practices used in development are followed and maintained.
? Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reports, and develop strategies for enhancing and improving the performance of these reports.
