Title : Manufacturing System Analyst
Location : Kansas City, MO

Manufacturing Systems Analyst role. Primary duties include, but are not limited to - Following standardized work for shift start-up, escalation of issues to 2nd Level support, troubleshooting GIS issues encountered during production, assisting Tactical and Controls Engineering resources as required, and functioning as a component part of the larger team that supports the Assembly Floor. Work alongside of talented GIS and Engineering resources responsible for supporting the Assembly Line. Position requires the need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities/Functions:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate issues to technical and non-technical people
- Assisting the business identify and solve top business impacting issues
- Champion or assist with Continuous Improvement opportunities within different departments within Assembly and outside of Assembly
- Responsibility of creating and sending out business improvement and impact reports to senior leadership
- Conduct training events to large amount of team members to ensure knowledge is successfully transferred and understood
- Responsible for creating training documents for team members
- Responsible in sending business process communication to senior leadership of if the Shop Floor is ready to run
- Responsible for quick reaction time to meet our SLA of getting issues escalated and follow a communication plan without any assistance from others
- Ability to fill in for tactical roles when they are off the floor
- Assist and/or Run GIS projects to prepare for major Assembly or department changes, which will require extensive knowledge of processes and our environment
