Job description:
The Technical Services Solution Architect implements and influences the strategic direction for Technical Services Applications architecture for systems globally. The position provides strategic expertise and is responsible to provide Technical Services architectural leadership for advanced and complex application projects based on deep and extensive technical knowledge in the ETL space. This position requires a highly skilled technical architect who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, provide strategic thought leadership, lead and mentor others, drive results, provide application architecture expertise across multiple technologies, and make challenging decisions. The position is responsible for managing a portfolio of ETL architecture solutions related to one or more process areas that utilize the Technical Services applications porfolio.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT or 7 years equivalent experience
Experience in Informatica, DI, Enterprise Integration, SOA Governance and Process Automation, E-Commerce solutions.
5+ years in implementing integration solutions for ETL is required (Informatica & DI preferred)
7+ years of IT and business/industry work experience designing solutions using Informatica and DI
5+ years of direct Integration, Application development and Solution Architecture experience
Experience in the latest enterprise operating systems including Linux, Unix or Windows including the ability to administer, configure, tune and troubleshoot complex environments.
Experience developing informatica solutions in the latest Power Center tools and programming languages including database, sql programming languages.
Strong conceptual strength, strategic thinking, problem solving, technical and analytical skills
Ability to influence all levels of the organization
Proven record of interacting with multiple business units and functional teams to gather business requirements and translate into a technical solution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical people
Experience working with external partners to evaluate business needs and define requirements and architecture
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
Established skills in identifying and developing strategies to address change management issues
Proven experience leading, developing, and influencing teams in a global, matrixed organization
Business fluency in English
Ability to demonstrate thought leadership
Strong experience in standard IT architectures and frameworks
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a service environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization, including the ability to communicate technical and business information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent analytical and problem solving capability
