Job Description :
Senior Software Engineer ( LAMP/ MEAN stack/ Ruby on Rails ) – 6-12months Dallas TX
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work directly with a cross-functional product team to create robust sports related applications that include users from across the globe. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a suite of highly available, highly scalable applications. You have a good eye for architecture, and can work with a lead and product owner to define the product requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to build and maintain reliable systems at scale.
Willingness to express effective code quality through testing.
Expertise in one or more of the following: MySQL, PostgresQL, Oracle, or Cassandra.
Expertise in one or more of the following programming languages: PHP, Ruby, Golang, C++, C#, or JavaScript.
Proficient with HTML and CSS.
Knowledge of one or more of the following programming frameworks: Symfony, Laravel, Ruby on Rails, React/Redux, Ember.js, vue.js.
Knowledge of payment processing and payment systems is a plus.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and processes is a plus.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years of experience preferred
Skills required
Open Source – LAMP, MEAN Stack, Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, VueJS, EmberJS, GO Language, etc. NOT traditional C#, ASP.NET MVC, or Java EE.
No need for ASP.NET, WCF, EJB, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, etc.
React.JS Redux experience is massive. If they have genuine ReactJS & Redux experience we’re home and dry
ReactJS Native – for Mobile development – is the icing on the cake
