Job Description:
We are seeking candidates who have a strong n-Tier Architecture in .Net with the addition of Angular.JS or other JavaScript Templates on the front-end. This is a full-stack development role. Candidates need to have 8-10+ years of experience, be at a Senior level, and should have 2-3 major projects in the banking or investment industry.
Will serve as a Senior Developer in the full lifecycle of .Net web-based trading applications built in ASP.Net 4.5, MVC Framework, RESTful Web Services, WCF, LINQ, SQL, T-SQL, etc. and JavaScript / JQuery / Angular.
Will also participate and/or lead various software engineering projects using advanced development patterns and component-based architecture.
Will actively collaborate with the team in ongoing product development, including design, development, review, integration, test, and deployment activities.
Must have the ability to be self-directed and able to work with an extended, remote team to deliver products in a timely manner.
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced development environment that continually embraces the latest technologies and techniques.
MUST HAVE strong experience with CNet, ASP.Net Frameworks
LINQ/Entity Framework Required for data manipulation and integration
Experienced with TFS for version control
Experienced in Agile/Scrum development
MUST HAVE some Front-end Development with Angular.JS, JavaScript client-side templates, jQuery, CSS and HTML Experience
Experience with a software development IDE such as Visual Studio is preferred but not required.
Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
Looking for candidates who have had 2 or more major, recent projects in a financial services / investment banking or trading industry
Preference will be given to candidates who have Agile experience, and prior background in investment banking, capital markets and /or trading industry experience
