Role: Senior SQL BI Developer
Location: Redmond WA
Experience: 5+ years
Duration: 6+ months
Summary The ideal candidate will be a strong SQL skills who has experience in complex problem solving , coding, and debugging skills, and thrives on the challenges of providing a data platform that is used across Microsoft. As a member of this team you will play a critical role in building and scaling Pipelines to meet the needs of the Analytics team and other engineering teams within Microsoft.
Mandatory Technical Skills • Strong TSQL
SSIS (understanding the flows, ability to use logs to find the root causes of failures)
MDS
C# (basic skills, no OOP, but some experience in procedural programming or other scripting languages)
SSAS Tabular or PowerQuery/PowerPivot
Desirable Technical Skills • COSMOS
SCOPE
Mandatory Functional Skills • Ability to understand vast amounts of data, identify and fix data issues
Building new pipelines using complex C# methods and JSON
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
Excellent technical & analytical skills with strong business acumen
Desirable Functional Skills • Experience in enterprise level datasets, strong technical skills in SQL and Microsoft BI along with C#
Previous experience working with Microsoft.
Passion to drive improvement in the overall customer experience

Experience working within a geographically-dispersed team
Experience working across multiple groups and teams
Be self-critical and have an accountable work approach
A BS degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
