Atlanta icon and 4th best company to work for in all of Atlanta is seeking an Oracle DBA for their growing team in Alpharetta.
We are seeking an expert in Oracle DB tuning and troubleshooting production issues. Excellent opportunity to learn GoldenGate and Exadata.
We are seeking a fast learner to coordinate changes to computer databases, test and implement and apply knowledge of database management systems. Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing database migration working with cross-functional team, including frequent interaction with the applications teams. Must be an expert in Tuning, Troubleshooting and Data Flows. We will look to you to lead 10+ migration projects that are planned over the next year, often leading multiple projects consecutively. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical background.
This is not a production support role. Candidate must be an expert on database tuning and Golden Gate. Must have expertise in Oracle RAC on multi terabyte databases, ASM, DataGuard and have expertise in SQL tuning. The role is for an application DBA. We will also consider outstanding DBAs who are very good in tuning and design and willing to pick up Golden Gate within weeks.
