Job Description
10 + years experience in Java/ Core Java, Servlets, Java Frameworks such as (Spring / Struts Strong understanding of Core Java and J2EE APIs. Application development from start to finish. Consistent Full Life Cycle projects. Previous experience designing and developing service components banking applications is useful. May also assume some architecture duties, including the development and maintenance of system architectures. May conduct complex technology and system assessments. Supports and advises internal clients and technical management. Required Skills: An ideal candidate will demonstrate interest in platforms, technology trends, frameworks, design patterns, standards, and guidelines and will be specifically experienced/knowledgeable in the core areas such as: • Strong understanding Core Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring • Web service integration using RESTful services • Application development methodologies including quality, stability and performance "best practices" should possess: * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Passionate about technology
Additionally, it would be nice to have experience in any of the following:
Foreign Exchange Markets, Electronic Payments & Settlements, dynamic languages such as Python, Ruby, or Groovy, WebLogic Server, Big Data, MIS solutions
