Job Title: Mechanical Designer/Electrical Engineer
Duration: 6 months Contract
*Assignment Location :
*3040 S 9th St, Ironton, OH 45638 (For initial 4 weeks the candidate may
need to be at Columbus, OH 43085 for project induction
*Job Description:
Study the product manufacturing process , assembly process,
discuss the finding for wire harness consolidation , generate ECN for
approved consolidation task , preparing & update engineering data 3D CAD
and 2D engineering drawings on Solid Edge , identify missing part
information and dimensions and update CAD model and drawings, upload the 3D
CAD and 2D drawings for review and approval in PLM system. Prepare Bill of
Material and upload documentations 2D drawings in Agile PLM.
Preparing work instruction and assembly instruction documents on
CAD/PLM s/w and MS office tool as directed by Client project lead
Support on other CAD and Sustenance activities on need basis
*Key Technical Skill:
*Experienced on Electrical wire harness design and modeling.
Hands on experience on Solid edge for 3D and 2D drawing creation, good
understanding of electrical design standards and practices
*Having knowledge on wire routing features on Solid Edge and
product configurations in Solid Edge ST8/ST9. Working knowledge on Team
center an and Agile PLMs. Minimum 3 years of experience on Solid Edge , and
1 to 2 years experience on TC/Agile in last three years of experience.
Familiar with MS office tools
*Desired Skills:
Experienced on Electrical wire harness design and modeling. Hands
on experience on Solid edge for 3D and 2D drawing creation, good
