Title: Sitecore Lead/Manager

Position Summary
Provides leadership to assigned group(s) within IT. Identifies, evaluates and resolves business issues. Manages budgets. Works on abstract problems across all functional areas within IT. Possesses extensive technical breadth. Exhibits the Leadership Qualities of Accountability, Integrity, Respect, Speed, Stretch, Vision and Boundarylessness.
Manages the company's Sitecore CMS platform and Sitecore Development team.
Principal Accountabilities
Coordinates development activities of internal resources and external vendors.
Tracks and coordinates releases and deployments.
Working with Sitecore Lead, and Senior Developers develops and enforces coding standards, and identifies and implements best practices.
Coordinates with other teams, including our internal customer, to ensure alignment of scope, schedule, and cost with needs.
Coordinates with other teams, including QA, Networking, Infrastructure, DNS, CRM, etc. to ensure timely delivery of dependencies
Required Skills & Experience
Knowledge:
Possesses experience with and in depth knowledge of the Sitecore CMS software (7.2 and later), SOLR, MongoDB, and related technologies.
Possesses experience leading small to medium development teams, and geographically distributed teams.
Possess experience and in-depth knowledge of "how the Internet works", i.e. IP networking, DNS, HTTP, CDN, proxies, and so forth.
Problem Solving:
Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues with WWW applications involving DNS, HTTP, redirects, CDNs, caches, proxies, load balancers, and related.
Experience with one or more of the following: SEO, Google Analytics, CDN, Cloud-based hosting PaaS, IaaS strongly preferred.
Guidance:
· Works closely with the business analysts to ensure the development of robust requirements.
· Works closely with the project manager to ensure the development of accurate, reliable estimates and schedules.
· Works closely with the project manager to ensure delivery in accordance with customer scope, budget, and schedule expectations.
Relationships:

Experience:
10+ years' of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
5+ years' experience with Sitecore CMS product
2+ years' experience leading a development team as a development manager, or 2+ years' project management experience, or 3+ years' experience leading a development team as a lead developer.
Strongly prefer candidates with a diverse technical background
Education:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. Math, Computer Science, Engineering, and Management) and 10+ years' relevant experience
Graduate degree in a relevant field and 6-8 years relevant experience.
Sitecore Certification preferred, but not required.
