Job Title: Technical Writer- Expert
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 12+ Months
A Technical Writer at the Expert level is required document the existing Portfolio Warehouse solution run book for the NC DOR.
A Technical Writer at the Expert level is required document the existing Portfolio Warehouse solution run book for the NC DOR. The Technical Writer must possess the following skillsets:
At least 5 years’ demonstrated experience writing technical documentation for an IT audience.
Ability to communicate technical terms and concepts.
Ability to integrate knowledge from a range of technologies.
Experience creating templates and artifacts to organize information.
Experience conducting analysis and interviewing SMEs as necessary to compile and write technical and accurate content.
Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint 2013 including all aspects of creating formats, inserting and sizing objects/files/diagrams/pictures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Development and execution of Documentation project plan
Status reporting, risk management and communications skills to all levels of the Agency organization.
