II. Job Duties (List six to eight of the most important duties. Begin with the most important duty)

Maintain the operational state of all Server and End-User Computing Technologies on a day-to- day basis.

Monitor and support WAN/LAN infrastructure.? Perform monthly patch management, preventive and corrective maintenance during assigned outage window.

Resolve Tier III incidents following TSC Problem/Request/Workflow.

Day-to-Day administration of Telecom Systems

Provide back-up operational coverage for the Director of Infrastructure Service and/or the Systems Software Administrator.

Advise the Director of the Infrastructure Service and/or the Vice President of Technology and CIO of any issues that threaten the smooth performance of the Dean College IT System.

On Call Support, including but not limited to, evenings, weekends and holidays.
III. Preparation, Training, and Experience (Describe the minimum level of preparation, training and experience, as well as any special skills, which are required to competently perform the duties of this job

A Bachelors in Information Technology/Computer Science or 8 years’ relevant work experience in the IT/Infrastructure Field.

Thorough understanding of windows Server 2008R2012R12 in Hyper-V environment.

Thorough understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.

Experience with system image building and software deployment strategies.

Knowledge of storage architectures and backup mediums.

Understanding of all RAID configuration and application thereof.

Experience with PBX administration and troubleshooting

Comp TIA A+ and /or Network+ Certifications

Microsoft Certifications as applicable to role.
