Title : AIX/LINUX System Administrator
Location : Downey, CA
Duration : 12 Months
Minimum Qualifications :
1. Three (3) years of experience within the last four (4) years as a systems administrator installing, configuring, monitoring and updating AIX 5.x/6.x/7.x on IBM p Series. Patching and automation using puppet/Satellite Server on virtualized Red Hat Linux Operating System on Vmware.
2. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years as a UNIX/Linux systems administrator managing servers in an enterprise environment consisting of 100 or more servers.
3. Three (3) years of experience within the last four (4) years implementing and administering PowerVM virtualization technologies (Virtual I/O) on IBM System pSeries platform and Virtualized Red Hat Linux Servers on Vmware.
4. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years in the area of UNIX security; working with and hardening UNIX/Linux operating systems in an enterprise environment consisting of 100 or more servers. This includes creating and managing secure, system and user defined accounts, using products such as Powerbroker.
5. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years maintaining UNIX/Linux shell and/or Perl scripts used for the automation of system monitoring and maintenance procedures.
6. Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years configuring file systems on EMC/IBM storage on AIX systems and Red Hat systems using Logical Volume Manager (LVM
7. One (1) Year of experience within the last two (2) years configuring, maintaining and implementing container based solution using Red Hat Open Shift Enterprise for production environments.
