Job Description :
As a ServiceNow Developer for our End User Experience Management team, your work will help to modernize IT
service management in the healthcare space. ServiceNow is in the early implementation stage and you will support
various modules – service, catalog, portal, change, incident configuration and discovery. Your work will transform our
approach to the employee service experience by improving, automating, and simplifying for both IT and the business
with a future state that would include our customers.
What you’ll do:
Work on automations to reduce manual tasks and integrations with an eye toward gamifying end user experience
Attend daily stand ups and participate as a key member of the project team
Work with developer team on task activities to develop the ServiceNow platform
Troubleshoot customer requirements and analyze methods to determine the best technical solution
Resolve conflicting requirements and provide ServiceNow technical expertise to project teams and IT users
Develop and maintain configuration management service maps
Develop Service Catalog items incorporating automation using orchestration
Document and maintain client facing and internal technology related deliverables
Own the ServiceNow workstream and convey expertise to other developers to improve business acumen
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor39;s Degree in an IT related field or four (4) years’ work experience in Information Technology
Six (6) years’ application development experience which includes 3 years of ServiceNow development
Advanced/expert programming level in Java, J2EE, Webshpere, or JavaScipt
Experience using various scripting technologies such as PowerShell and Shell
System integration experience using web services and other web based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX,
CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP
Basic understanding or IT network, storage and databases
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders.
