Job Description :
One of our clients is looking for a Lead Big Data Architect.
This role involves researching with Data Scientists and Developers and Architecting data setup, tools and algorithms to run near real time systems.
SKILLS:
10 years of experience in data related software development
5 years architecting a large-scale distributed systems
Database design, data modeling, data integration, and data exchange standards
Data integration with a variety of ETL tools, Kettle, Spring Batch, Sqoop, Flume, Thrift, Avro, or Protocol Buffers
Hadoop eco-system with MapReduce, Solr / ElasticSearch, Cassandra / Hbase / MongoDB / CouchDB, SQL, JSON, Linux are a must
Working experience with Spark, Thrift, Redis, Kafka, ZooKeeper, Mahout, Celery, AWS, Docker and Git
Strong programming experience in any of - Java / Python / Scala
Any Automation/Scripting (shell, Python, perl, Chef, Puppet, Bash, Ansible, etc
A good understanding of CAP theorem principles and its vital role in distributed databases
DESIRED:
Knowledge of / experience with Graph databases / technology a plus e.g. Neo4j
EDUCATION:
MS in Computer Science or related field and proven hands-on coding skills
