Required Skills:
84 + months designing/installing/configuring/upgrading IBM AIX 6.1 & 7.1 operating systems Power 6/7 & 8 platforms in addition to installing and configuring PowerVM virtualization services and high availability technology including HACMP and Power HA.
24+ months provisioning/cloning and maintaining Red Hat Linux and zLinux guests under z/VM and maintaining Linux servers using Red Hat satellite server network, troubleshooting performance issues on zLinux on z/VM platform and gather performance data using Performance Toolkit for z/VM.
60+ months experience with Chef, BigFix, Ansible, Openshift, and GFS2 HA Cluster including installation and configuration of server and troubleshooting of issues.
24+ months experience with deploying and managing Unisys Stealth services in a large-scale environment (1500+ Unix servers
24+ months supporting servers utilizing CommVault backup software and One Touch recovery solution.
60 + months supporting servers with virtualized SAN attached storage such as IBM SVC and EMC VPLEX. This experience should include installation and configuration of NFS shared and GPFS clustered file systems.
84 + months supporting LPAR’s running a variety of applications including, WebSphere, MQ/Message Broker, Oracle Application and Oracle Clusterware and Install and configure IHS/Apache web servers using LDAP and CA SiteMinder authentication.
84+ months experience with Tivoli Workload scheduler including installation and configuration of agents and troubleshooting of issues.
84 + months maintaining LPAR’s in an N-Tier, load balanced network environment working with network teams on network/firewall/DNS issues and requests and assist with troubleshooting issues with routing, vlans, firewalls, etc.

Responsibilities:
Install/configure/upgrade IBM AIX 6.1 – 7.1 operating systems on Power 7/Power 8 hardware including P720, P750, P770, P780, 795 and P880.
24+ Provisioning/cloning and maintaining Red Hat Linux and zLinux guests under z/VM.
Perform firmware upgrades on frames and HMC’s. Perform backup and restore of LPAR’s using CommVault.
Design and configure PowerVM and all virtualization services such as Shared Ethernet Adapter (SEA), VLAN, VLAN tagging, IVE, NPIV, CPU pooling, Live Partition Mobility (LVM) and virtual SCSI services to multiple VIO client partitions.
Install, configure and support an HA environment utilizing Power HA and manage NFS share and GPFS clustered file systems.
Support servers with SAN attached storage utilizing EMC VMAX and VNX storage systems and virtualized by VPLEX.
Install, configure and Unisys Stealth services, Chef, Satellite server Openshift, GFS2.
Create scripts in support of system administration tasks using KORN shell, Perl, etc.
Maintain LPAR’s in an N-Tier, load balanced network environment using Global Site Selector/Content Services Switches. Submit firewall and DNS requests to the network team. Troubleshoot complex network issues.
Perform AIX diagnostic and tuning activities utilizing Splunk and ITM. Function as a single point of contact between the customer, other support teams, and vendors.
Support LPAR’s running IBM middleware including IHS, WebSphere, MQ/Message Broker, Infoprint, Tivoli monitoring.
Install and configure IHS/Apache web servers using LDAP and SiteMinder authentication.
Install and configure servers to run Oracle and Oracle clusterware and assist DBA’s with • installation, configuration and troubleshooting of that software.
