Prinicpal Devops Engineer

Responsibilities

· Design and deploy technology, standards, nomenclatures and processes for Configuration Management

· Design and deploy technology and processes required to effectively manage a Service Oriented Architecture

· Design and implement design patterns for Application Integration and Deployment

· Design and deploy highly repeatable tools and processes to automate supporting deployment processes

Requirements

· 10+ years of experience working with Configuration Management preferably using Puppet and Hiera

· 10+ years of experience working within a Unix/Linux Administration

· 9+ years of experience working with Systems Software (e.g. Apache, Tomcat, Java, etc)

· 8+ years of experience working with GIT

· Experience working within a mature DevOps environment

· Experience working with private and/or public cloud platforms (e.g. OpenStack, OpenShift, AWS, etc)

· Programming experience (e.g. Shell, Python, Ruby, etc)

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent analytical & problem solving skills

· Software development background is a bonus
