Consultant should have a year working with React, extended experience working on UI and other JS frameworks.
Senior-level professional capable of automating Portfolio management capabilities like trade modeling, flows management, cash deployment, cloning/rebalancing, targeting and PM to trader trade communication process. Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. Include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to understand complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
Project Description: This is a Portfolio Management platform build out effort. The effort planned is to build portfolio management (PM) capabilities for Multi Asset & Alternatives portfolio products.
Roles and Responsibilities:
> o Implement the front-end technical design and development. Write robust front-end code using React frameworks and libraries. Develop rich, interactive data visualizations, and other dynamic features
> o Automate test using tools like Selenium , Junit , Jasmine, Mocha, Chai.
> o Develop back-end code using Java, Spring Boot
> o Collaborate with business analysts to define business requirements. Be able to translate business requirements into technical requirements
> o Rapidly design, prototype and iterate on creative concepts to meet the user requirements. Rapidly solve problems and fix bugs
> o Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to other team members
Skill set required:
> ? Extensive experience building single page web application interfaces/development. Deep expertise in React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
> ? Strong Experience with test automation – experience with Selenium, Junit, Jasmine, Mocha, Chai etc.
> ? Production experience with continuous integration
> ? Deep expertise designing and developing rich, interactive data visualizations
> ? Strong understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and CSS-based design
> ? Java and spring experience is a plus
> ? Familiarity with Git
> ? Experience with Redux is a plus
> ? Understanding of application server and database development, including basic data structures and algorithms
> ? Experience with Agile development methodology & Test Driven development is a plus
> ? Knowledge on Web pack and Chrome Dev tools
> ? Prior experience using Babel.js
> ? Strong experience with test driven development is a plus
> ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
> ? Ability to work independently and with Pair collaboratively
