In the role of Technical Lead, you will deliver activities related to build and implementation of work product. You will participate in requirements elicitation, analysis of architecture, create and review design, development and testing. You will also be looked at as specialist in Vertica working with others in the industry and help Infosys gain momentum in the Big Data space. Location for this position is Sunnyvale, CA. This position may require travel and or relocation
Qualifications
Basic
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
Preferred
At least 4 years of experience experience in the area of data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics
Experience in Performance Tuning in Vertica which includes creation of Projection, Partition, LAP and segmentation
Experience with Large greenfield implementation program experience in JDA modules
At least 3 years of Vertica development experience
At least 3 years of experience SQL, Shell Scripting experience
At least 3 years of experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process
Understanding of market and technology trends.
Analytical skills
Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
