Job Description :
Responsibilities:
Ensures that appropriate project management methods are used for all engagements
Partners with client PMO organizations to align planning and reporting approaches
Supports Region management with consolidated manpower requirements, status and dependencies identification
Establishes and ensures execution of standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
Tracks acceptance criteria for all contract milestones in all engagements and obtains timely sign-off from customer(s)
Publish weekly dashboard on health of the project
Participate in customer meetings
Deliver all Service Transition Projects and Programs in line with recognized best practice methodology (managing risk, governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, reporting) , where the successful implementation of service resource skills and processes are just as critical to project success as technology
Deliver customer advocacy via exemplary Service Transition project delivery
To take full responsibility for the management of the wider transition team involving additional project management resource, internal technical resource, 3rd party suppliers, account team members and client stakeholders
To interface with 3rd party suppliers, involving agreement, planning, timelines and quality of deliverable
Produce detailed project plans to manage inter dependencies
Ensure strict commercial change control to manage deviations
Adhere to relevant escalation processes to escalate resource issues, delayed project phases, missed deadlines and other planning issues
Ensure commercial project milestones are agreed and published and that invoices are raised with reference to these dates and/or on completion of deliverables
Monitor the program/project ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner and the appropriate corrective actions are implemented
Review the outcomes of the Service Transition Projects to determine any corrective actions that could be taken to improve future delivery in terms of cost, quality and customer satisfaction

Education and Experience
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT Management or equivalent
Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure and supporting processes including, but not limited to: Data Center infrastructure, LAN, WAN, Security, Service Desk, End User Services, Compliance.
Experience of project delivery in all aspects of the Transition Lifecycle Management for the introduction of outsourcing or managed support services, specific examples include, service desk, systems and network management, hardware maintenance and site services
At least 16 years of experience in delivering IT Infrastructure projects and programs
5 years of experience in managing 5-10 direct reports
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to present in front of large audiences
ITIL Foundation essential, Practitioner desirable
Project Management qualification
Developed communication and diplomacy skills with a strong ability to persuade and influence client and stakeholder relationships
Demonstrable experience and capability to manage projects autonomously
Experience of managing, direct or matrix, project managers, technical resource and other resource assigned to a Service Transition
Experience in managing deliverable via 3rd party vendors in a high profile and/or technically innovative enterprise solution
