Job Title: Test Lead
Work Location: Torrance, CA (Locals to CA needed)
Duration: 12months
Overview:
Looking for Test Lead to handle multiple project independently having ability to work with various teams to facilitate testing.
Responsibilities:
Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
Collects and analyses data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs
Documents all problems and assists in their resolution
Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners
Daily Tasks Performed:
Provide expertise in the planning, construction, and execution of test scripts/cases
Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team''s overall objectives
Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.
Partner with product owner and developers to deliver a quality product to clients; Evaluation and reporting of test results
Skillsets:
Web services testing experience
Quick Learner
Able to lead the offshore team and status report to onsite leads
Takes responsibility for offshore tasks
Good and clear communication skills
Emphasis on process
Flexible to work on multiple projects and deliver the results.
Groovy scripts knowledge. -Nice to have
