Skills set
More than 8+ years of experience
Good Experience in application integration using technologies like WebLogic, J2EE, JMS, JSP, Unix, DB2 etc.
Good Experience writing build and deployment scripts using automation tools like Ant, Maven, Jenkins etc.
Good understanding and working experience on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Oracle Service Bus (OSB)
Good Experience supporting WebLogic Servers, WebLogic Clusters, WebLogic Domains etc.
Good Experience on Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and specifically on configuring OEM for Oracle SOA, OSB, WebLogic environments
Knowledge on LDAP
Knowledge on DB2/MYSQL configuration, Connectivity with Application server
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration & Unix Shell Scripting
A working understanding of code and script (Java, Python, Perl)
Preferred Skillset (Optional) – IBM DataPower
Job Description
Deployment
Provide access Control, across environments (including interfaces)
Deploy application code
Manage application Server (Upgrades and bounce)
Coordinate with other IT division for environments related activities
Perform Jenkins job Setup
Perform Autosys job Setup and execution/smoke testing
o Environment Configuration
Maintain Inventory and allocation for all lower environments
Configure environments to point to the right sources (DB, Specs, CDC, Memory setting
Configure environments to point to right End to End environments
o Release Management
Manage the build automation tool and overall build process
Manage repository and Stream creation based on Releases
Manage development streams (Unlock-lock, user groups, permissions)
Perform account Management activities like Mac-vault, Unix account, DB password updates
Resolve Ant/Maven build and deployment issues
Prepare deployment guides and support for UAT/PERF/PROD
o General Activities
Debugging environment issues
Attend meetings to address environment related issues /planning
