DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
·         Meet with business users to determine business needs
·         Analyze and document business processes
·         Translate business needs and business process flows into detailed, testable and traceable requirements
·         Develop and document requirements using a formal methodology
·         Create agile user stories, use cases, and related acceptance criteria
·         Create themes, features, epics, and stories
·         Analyze business data to deliver answers to business area questions
·         Perform in a consultative role during all phases of testing
·         Investigate and solve system issues by leveraging business knowledge and technical approaches
·         Make configuration and rating updates to policy/billing/claims administration system
·         Help design and review solution approaches
·         Drive defects to resolution
·         Act as liaison and SME between business users, the QA/Test Team, and the Application and Data Warehouse Development Teams to
resolve requirement, user story, defect, and enhancement issues
·         Participate in peer reviews
·         Participate in continuously improving and maturing QA and testing strategy and execution
·         Provide detailed status reports and updates to stakeholders  
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and LICENSES
·         Bachelor’s degree in  Business, IT, IS, or related field
·         Minimum 3 years of experience as Business Analyst in the insurance industry; medical liability experience preferred
·         Minimum 3 years of experience managing system requirements within a structured and traceable methodology
·         Minimum 3 years of experience with insurance policy / claims / billing administration systems
·         Minimum 2 years of experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile methodologies
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
·         Strong knowledge of policy, billing, and claims processing.
·         Ability to develop functional and technical specifications using structured design methodologies
·         Ability to create business process flow and data flow diagrams
·         Ability to create agile user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, themes, features, epics, and stories
·         Knowledge of SQL, XML, and MS SQL Server
·         Knowledge of SSRS or equivalent BI reporting / analytical tools a plus
