Job Title: Windows Systems Administrator with SCCM Experience
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Contract: 6 Months Contract-to-hire
Interview: Phone & Face to Face, Need Locals
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows: 2008r2sp1, 2012r2
Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems ( 2008 and 2012) and Microsoft technologies including, clustering, load balancing, IIS (5.0, 6.0 and 7.0), patch management, Security and policy control.
Working knowledge of x86 and x64 Server hardware technologies especially IBM xSeries and SAN and NAS technologies along with Network technologies (LAN/WAN, load balancing, firewall) and Windows system management tools
Experience implementing solutions for multi-tiered applications on Windows platforms
Understanding and experience working with anti-virus, and backup techonolgies (NetBackup preferred
Experience in deployment, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting Windows server based systems.
In depth knowledge of Windows core technologies (AD, DNS, Virtualization technologies) and basic knowledge of networking and storage technologies.
Desired/Preferred Skills:
Experience with one or more of the following software technologies; Microsoft SQL Server, VMware Infrastructure 3.x, Microsoft SMS/SCCM, or Active Directory
Scripting/automation skills (e.g. VB Script) and experience with WMI
Powershell 2.0/3.0
Cisco UCS
Experience in Dev/Ops environment desired.
Certification in MCP or MCSE preferred
