ANDROID DEVELOPER
Job Description:
As a developer, you will be working with a small team of other software engineers in an agile
software development process to add features and maintain the platforms, games and other
content. We work in a highly collaborative setting to address the top priorities each sprint for our
internal and external customers
Responsibilities:
Use tools including Git and JIRA to organize work,
Strive to create working software on a frequent basis that can be tested and released
regularly.
Automate integration and deployment to provide fast feedback on the work done and
minimize the amount of manual effort required for testing and release.
Technical/ Skills Required:
Experience in building mobile and tablet implementations
Technical proficiency to accurately document code
Experience with Agile development, preferably Scrum, and Unit Testing / TDD
Experience with Jenkins for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
Ability to help steer product definition from a technical point of view
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with iOS mobile development (Swift/Objective-C)
Interfaced with using RESTful JSON APIs, AWS cloud services(S3), and GitHub
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging
technologies
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Experience developing for people with disabilities
Education/Experience Required:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent degree
3 years of experience in Android Development
Ability to get things done without being micromanaged
Strong written and oral communication skills
