Sourcing Analyst I - Supplier Relationship Management

Specific Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for analytical and coordination activities contributing to the overall supplier relationship management program that supports operational execution, issue resolution, internal and external collaboration, communications, and performance management with strategic and core third party suppliers.

Candidate will develop, monitor, and update relationship performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for suppliers. Key work outputs will enable senior sourcing professionals to partner with business leads on executing existing programs and developing a pipeline of additional innovation opportunities to strengthen supplier relationships and decrease total cost of ownership.

Essential Duties and Job Functions:
Capture and gather performance data from Gilead and supplier stakeholders
Populate and publish supplier performance scorecards
Consolidate and prepare the results of individual relationship activities
Support supplier segmentation analysis to identify potential supplier candidates for the program and assist in implementation of supplier segmentation strategy
Support the education of stakeholders on supplier enablement strategies
Provide training and guidance for onboarding and maintenance of program suppliers
Organize meetings and calls with strategic suppliers and stakeholders to review KPIs and scorecards
Issue surveys to internal and supplier stakeholders and collect, consolidate, and analyze results
Follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders on actions related to performance issues and continuous improvement
Collaborate with category leads and transactional procurement teams
Gather and organize supplier-related data and support the preparation of the analyses and presentations
Assist in issue tracking and action item follow up with Suppliers and business stakeholders

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
BA/BS - Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Contracting or related emphasis preferred
2+ years satisfactory full-time experience in business analytics, • Understanding of A/P and Procurement processes and Buyer/Supplier interfaces preferred
Ability to multitask and contribute to multiple simultaneous workstreams
Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to the given audience, present information in a clear and concise manner
Proficient with MS Office suite
