Sr Network Engineer
The resource should be strong in networking and should have experience in CISCO ISE. Written CCIE certification is also required
A current Cisco CCIE certification (Written) is required
Duties:
Support network operations, maintenance and engineering including all aspects of the Connectivity Infrastructure, Client Network Admission control, Manage Firewalls, Manage VPN''s (IPSEC and remote access) troubleshooting advanced issues, implementing complex technologies, performing upgrades to systems, deploying new systems and providing recommendations for enhancement to the computing environment.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of Network Operations and Engineering experience with in-depth knowledge of Network Design/Troubleshooting/Engineering principals and methodologies.
Cisco ISE experience is needed• Experience contributing to the creation of policies and procedures around network administration
Experience with upgrading code on network devices
Working experience supporting Cisco Catalyst 6509''s using VSS.
Working experience with Cisco Nexus 5k''s and above.
Working experience with Cisco QoS.
Skilled experience writing planning, documenting and executing projects
Advanced knowledge and experience in (Layer2) switching, VLAN''s, trunking technologies, Aggregation (LACP, PAGP, VPC, MEC; VTP, and STP,(R)PVST(+), MST, First Hop Routing protocols in a Cisco environment
Experience using/implementing routing protocols such as VRF (LITE), EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF. Knowledge of MPLS is a plus.
Advanced level knowledge supporting wireless network services and protocols (Cisco Ecosystem)
Experience supporting a unified communications environment (VoIP phone, Desktop Video/Collaboration)
Experience with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and metric based reporting.
Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark.
Experience implementing and maintaining firewalls.
Ability to install routers/switches/UPS batteries in IT closets and/or data centers.
Experience implementing and using IPV6 protocol.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with OPNET (Riverbed) (Appresponse) or Solarwinds
Experience implementing and maintaining Citrix Netscaler load balancers.
Experience with Cisco NAC products such as Clean Access to Identity Services Engine
Experience with Posture Assessment through NAC
Education:
Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, engineering or an additional 2 years of experience can substitute for a Bachelor''s degree.
