Role: Senior Software Engineer (RoR)
Location: San Francisco, CA

Description
Candidates for this position should have a minimum of 4 years of web development experience with Ruby on Rails, Ember.js, backbone.js or angular.js.
This position will involve both feature development and enhancements to existing functionality.
Ability to work comfortably across all aspects of the front end stack is a must.
Accountabilities:
Work with product management and other engineers to build consistent and compelling features
Refactor and enhance existing product features
Work with QA engineers to develop test cases and ensure that new features support test automation
Adhere to and grow our internal style guide
Use GIT source control software
Share information with other employees through internal documentation and the occasional presentation
Adhere to MVC-style application design
Demonstrate working knowledge of jQuery, backbone, ember or angular or a similar framework a must
Intermediate database design
Writing unit and functional tests
Debugging and deploying to Linux based environment.
Implementing and/or consuming Web Services
Produce standards-compliant XHTML, CSS and JacaScript code, and familiarity with Linux development environment, where RPM experience is a plus
Learn, obsess, and teach others about cool technical stuff
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related areas with strong technical understanding of SaaS/Web-Services software development is essential
2-4 years of experience in IT work experience in Ruby on Rails and Elastic Search
2+ years of experience in SOA, Data and Application Integration, Web Services, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), eCommerce systems, web or other development experience
2+ years’ experience managing web-based and/or SaaS application development projects
Strong understanding of Software development and release life cycle and agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; demonstrates creative problem solving
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, VersionOne, Rally or Pivotal Tracker
Preferred:
CSM/CSP Certification
