We are looking for an individual to join our team who will:
- Be Passionate about asking and answering questions about large datasets, and ability to communicate to a wide audience of engineers, managers and executives.
- Inspect, validate and edit map data; provide root cause analysis
- Isolate and identify gaps and errors in system functionality as it relates to data release process and programs
- Participate in acceptance testing processes
- Qualifying and ensuring accuracy of production data
- Provide quality control on meta-information required to verify system processes
- Recognize and act on opportunities for automation, integration and standardization of global processes
Instructing & leading contractors in analysis & work tasks.
Education:
- B.S or higher in GIS, Computer Science, or relevant field.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with mapping, GIS, or geospatial experience.
- Knowledge of Python as a scripting language.
- Experience with distributed data frameworks (Hadoop, hive, pig) a plus.
