EMR Account Manager
Location: Lyndhurst, NJ / Remote
Duration: Long Term
Manages relationships with various EMR / EHR, LIS, and HIS partners (vendors) to effectively increase quality and efficiency within client connectivity solutions. This pertains to interfaces between Quest and the Client’s software in order to support electronic Lab Orders and/or Results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Creates and prioritizes requirements to vendors (e.g. eClinicalWorks) to meet the evolving business requirements of Quest Diagnostics and CAP/Industry.
2. Influences vendors to develop and implement solutions and/or processes to improve connectivity operations (e.g. Implementation Automation, eOrder Quality, Advanced Beneficiary Notice)
3. Works closely with the business and vendors to identify opportunities to develop and apply new functionality that supports the business strategy, billing, and client experience.
4. Maintains documentation on assigned vendor’s product capabilities, processes, and contact info to insure visibility internally (e.g. Vendor Wiki, Workflow tool)
5. Maintains a database of vendor specific initiatives, issues, and communication log (e.g. CRM, Workflow tool
6. Coordinate opportunities for internal customers to receive vendor specific training and educational resources.
7. Resolve issues that arise regarding business and operational relationship Additional Details: REMOTE is acceptable. Schedule - M-F, 8-5. Minor overnight travel possible, sometimes over the weekend (5% travel for the year expected Top 3 Qualifications – EMR/EHR experience (preferably with interfaces), Strong communication skills, Influential/persistent. Technologies - HL7 knowledge and basic MS applications. Unique Skillset - Technical account manager, Implementation analyst, all within healthcare realm. Soft Skills - Very strong communication skills (both verbal and written), Strong English speaker, Exceptional time mgmt., Good social and interpersonal skills, Resourceful, Persistent, Analytical. Interviews – phone / in-person depending on location.
