Job description:

The Software Development L2 Support is responsible for providing support to all client applications, both those developed in-house and those maintained by vendors. Support team members need to demonstrate effective time management and tasking skills, as they regularly work on multiple application challenges at a given time.
While development experience is required, there is more troubleshooting than there is actual development. Candidates looking to expand their development experience will probably become frustrated in this position and not last.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting client’s company-wide culture and implementing their service standard at all times;
Monitor the L2 trouble ticket queues, troubleshooting and resolving any reported application challenges;
Maintain the “living” support documents of the applications;
Participate in the on-call rotation, taking turns in the fielding of weekly off-hours support calls;

Collaborate with other Support team members to ensure a shared level of knowledge is realized by the entire team;
Participate in the planning and deployment of projects to ensure that support concerns are voiced and addressed;
Actively engage in the continuous improvement efforts of client’s applications by observing and suggesting ways to increase efficiencies;
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal forms;
Working knowledge of Microsoft development technologies including but not limited to: .NET, C#, SQL, WCF, Silverlight;
Familiarity with tools including but not limited to: Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, SQL Server Management Studio;
Exposure to Microsoft Enterprise Services is a plus;
Exposure to AWS/Cloud, Docker is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols;
Must be able to sit or stand for the duration of the shift;
Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
