Android Developer
Location: North brook, IL
Interview: Phone / Skype
Duration: 3 month contract to hire
Description:
Expert knowledge of Android Framework which include
Excellent Android/Java skills with the libraries such as – Data, Location, Map, BLE, UI Kits, Gradle, Studio, Dependency Injection Concepts (Dagger), Android Specific Design Patterns
Strong sense of anesthetics and an eye for good design scaling Android applications on multiple OS/Devices.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of features
Experience using Git, SVN, CVS, or Mercurial
Ability to work quickly but with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
Process-oriented with ability to work with different UI materials and rapid prototyping
Strong written and verbal English communication and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced production deadline-driven environment
A preoccupation with staying on top of industry trends and technologies
· Solid understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript or Angular is a plus
· Strong command of web standards, progressive enhancement and cross-browser compatibility.
· Strong logic programming ability.
· Previous experience with any of the server-side scripting language (Ruby, Python, PHP, JSP, etc
· Experience with a version control systems.
· A strong attention to detail.
· Previous experience on large codebases.
· Passion for performance debugging, benchmarking, and understanding of client-side performance
