This is not a REMOTE work opportunity.
10 years of overall experience. 5-7 years of QA Engineer experience with web applications, web services, Java, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, unit-testing, shell scripting and "Cassandra/Solr/NoSQL" is a must. The Cassandra/Solr/NoSQL is about 1-2 years. Manager will be focusing on their UI/API background. Using test automation tools like Selenium. Experience with web application security testing, firebug/fiddler testing, and browser caching. Must have a Bachelor''s Degree
Qualifications
- 10 Overall years of experience
- 5-7 years of strong technical competency and experience with web applications, web services, Java, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, unit-testing, shell-scripting and Cassandra/Solr/NoSQL is a must.
- Experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents.
- Experience using data driven tests to validate API calls in large J2EE n-tier architectures.
- Experience using test automation tools like Junit and Selenium, multi-browser testing is a must.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting problems in Linux/Unix based application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, WebSphere environments is preferred.
- Must have experience testing in an AGILE environment and should have exposure to testing environment migration, DB and infrastructure/system upgrades.
- Experience in web application Security testing, firebug / fiddler testing, browser caching.
- Continuous Integration, Code/Test coverage working in different methodologies is a plus.
- Must have proactive and strong communications to work well across teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
